Autodesk is an American multinational software corporation that makes software for the architecture, engineering, construction, manufacturing, media, and entertainment industries.

It was founded in 1982 by John Walker, a coauthor of the first versions of AutoCAD, the company’s flagship computer-aided design (CAD) software. Nowadays Autodesk is a leader in 3D design, engineering and entertainment software. They have over 100 offices in over 38 countries around the world, where they employ around 9000 employees. In Poland, they have more than 100 employees, with majority in their R&D center in Krakow.
