“I wanted to learn not only the language, but truly understand the programming mechanisms, know the good practices, trends and learn how to start a new life in an industry as dynamic as IT. “
I had an idea to help people.
I started studying Mechanical Engineering, since there are many work environments that pose a threat to human health. I wanted to program machines that would enable safe work.
After several years I was working as a driver in Warsaw. It was a hard physical job, non-standard work hours, six days a week. Again, I began to think about my future and the possibilities of using my skills.
I started learning C programming language.
While I was studying, I started learning C programming language, which I enjoyed and saw my future in this field. My dream was to program automation systems.
First, I was searching for various phrases like ‘how to learn programming’. In fact, I was already determined to learn, I just needed to choose the right place and technologies. I knew that investing in myself was always the best investment, so I did not hesitate and chose the PHP course at Coders Lab.
The course was one of the most intense periods in my life.
At the very beginning of the course I was worried that this material is just too much. More than once I asked myself if I really could do it.
I did not give up looking for a solution to a given problem, doing my homework or writing a weekend project. In the following weeks, I was happy that I could finish something faster and tried to explain it to others.
Throughout the course, we could count on great support from our lecturers. I liked the slogan ‘We will teach you how to program’, because I wanted to learn not only the language, but truly understand the programming mechanisms, know the good practices, trends and learn how to start a new life in an industry as dynamic as IT.
I am currently working as a PHP developer and Scrum Master
The recruitment process was very fast – I got my first job in 1.5 months after completing the course.
I currently work in the Absolvent Group as PHP developer and Scrum Master. There was a moment when 10 Coders Lab graduates worked in my company.
Now I see that Coders Lab gave me a fishing rod and showed me how to use it. And that’s exactly what I was looking for.
