We’re opening the new season???
Let’s meet on September 16 in HubHub, Postępu 14 – we’ll be happy to share with you what activities we’ve planned for you and summarize our previous projects.
As usual, we’ve planned for you two amazing presentations – this time we’ll focus on starting and advancing a career in IT.
Our first speaker will be Weronika Ślusarczyk who will tell us how she started working as a game developer and different possibilities of development in game dev teams.
Next, we’ll talk with Agnieszka Pietrasik (Hays) and Anna Strząbała (BATMAID), IT recruiters, about developing a career in IT – how to start, change your career path, get promoted, recruitment proces, preparing CV etc. We’ve planned a Q&A session – first part moderated by us, the second by you.

Weronika zajmuje się programowaniem gier mobilnych od ponad 3 lat. Tworzyła projekty pod patronatem ministerstwa zdrowia oraz dla agencji medialnych. Obecnie pracuje w Vivid Games, m. in. przy projekcie Space Pioneer. Weronika: “Uważam, że wszystkiego można się nauczyć, i że nie ma sensu się bać sprawdzać różnych rzeczy (chyba, że to jedzenie)! :”

Agnieszka has been working in HR for 15 years. She’s been in Hays since 2008, where she’s responsible for recruitment, development of cooperation with key clients, as well as managing teams of consultants. One of her main specializations is IT Perm. She graduated in sociology at the University of Warsaw and is passionate about diving.

In her first headhunter job she was called a “man for special tasks”. Ania has been recruiting engineers and IT specialists in Poland and on international markets for 4 years. She took her first steps in the profession in boutique agencies, and uses the experience gained there cooperating with Western startups. She currently works as an HR Business Partner at the Swiss “Uber for cleaning” Batmaid.
She admits that 7 years spent abroad helped her headhunter career.
She received her education in the USA, where she obtained a master’s degree and a PhD in Taiwan, dealing with sociology of natural disasters. Privately, she loves traveling and is a happy mother of a 4-month-old son.
