A new academic year has begun, so… it’s time to plan a next Warsaw meetup! As promised, we’re continuing the topic of developing a career in IT.
As our first speaker, we invited Oliwia Wojtkowska, Data Engineer Consultant at Lingaro, to share her tips on working with Flask!
Our next speaker will be Magdalena Górnicka-Partyka, Member of Polish Association of Public Relations, who will tell us about IT skills needed in a social media agency (project management, UX, understanding programmers’ role etc.).
For the past 2,5 years, she’s been working in various big data and data science teams. Recently, she’s been creating and testing applications in Flash for an IoT solution. Usually, she codes in Python but she also has experience with both R and Julia programming languages. She worked for big enterprises and startups, doing projects for companies from FMCG, financial and telecommunications sectors. Currently, she’s part of the Big Data & IoT team at Lingaro. Privately a lover of cats and other furry animals.
Magda has worked in the digital industry for almost 10 years. She co-organized one of the first conferences on social media in Poland – Social Media Day Poland, and led social media and digital projects. Member of the Polish Public Relations Association. What she likes about her work most, is the possibility to learn and share knowledge with others.
In her free time she writes a blog about weddings and learns French.
