In the Technical Support Centre Operations in Warsaw, we offer a paid internship for students of 2nd and 3rd year with passion for networking and security.

NSEs work as part of a dynamic, highly technical team on a number of F5’s technologies. Our engineers assist many top companies across the globe in a variety of industries, on infrastructure that is vital to their operational function. There are many opportunities to specialize in F5’s diverse range of solutions and become Subject Matter Experts in multiple fields. This role opens the door to additional support positions or many other career choices within F5 and beyond.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Learn F5 solutions and technology stack
  • Preparation for real life issue reproduction scenarios in F5 Lab
  • Testing of solutions in F5 Lab
  • Explanation of relevant F5 technology and hands on experience with F5 technology configuration and troubleshooting
  • Hands on experience with virtual environments
  • Hands on experience with configuring VLANs
  • Analysis and resolution of real network issues

Skills and knowledge improvement during internship:

  • Hands-on technical experience with internetworking/data center operations including WAN operations, Network Protocols, TCP/IP, OSI Model, UNIX or Linux (e.g. Redhat) operating systems, Wireshark/ Tshark/ HTTPwatch tools, VMware
  • Network Security (e.g. Web Application Security, AAA, VPN, DDoS, Malware, Application Firewalls, etc)
  • VLAN – setup and implementation

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Completed 2nd year in Computer Science or related field
  • Understanding of OSI model and network protocols
  • At least basic knowledge of Linux and VMware
  • Good verbal and written communication (English)
